
Adding a savory sauce full of Asian ingredients to chicken is an easy way to up the flavor without doing a lot of work. Here, a simple mixture of soy sauce, honey, and ginger is warmed in a saucepan.
When I am too lazy to cook, I do this recipe because it’s very easy to make!
My kids loves when I cook this for them. I don’r really like use Chicken breast because it can get dry on the meat, so I use thight instead.
I N G R E D I E N T S
T E R I Y A K I S A U C E
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 5tsp brown sugar
- 1tbsp honey, or more to taste
- 1/2tsp ground ginger
- 1/4tsp garlic powder
- 2tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
H O W T O P R E P A R E
- Combine 1 cup water, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, ginger, and garlic powder in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Cook until nearly heated through, about 1 minute.
Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cold water together in a cup; stir until dissolved. Add to the saucepan. - Cook and stir sauce until thickened, 5 to 7 minutes.

- Chicken Thighs
- Garlic
- Ginger
- Onions
- Bell Pepper/Paprika
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sesame Oil
H O W T O P R E P A R E
- Heat nonstick pan or wok medium high heat
- Pour a little bit of butter and sesame oil
- Add the onion, garlic and ginger until its smells good
- Then add the chicken
- When the Chicken is done add the teriyaki sauce in
- Add salt peppar for more taste.
- You can also add the paprika or any other veggies if you want and then sprinkle it with sesame
